Shaping The Inner Landscape of Your Mind

Anthony Boutin

My name is Anthony J. Boutin — Tony — and I want to share my story with you, because I believe it matters. I am not just a hypnotist. I am living proof of what the power of the subconscious mind can do.

Very recently, I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. Facing a cancer diagnosis changes everything. The fear, the uncertainty, the way your mind can spiral into the darkest corners — I experienced all of it. But I also discovered something extraordinary during that time: when I used hypnosis to quiet my mind, reduce my stress, and focus my subconscious on healing, my body responded in ways that still humble me. I came out the other side. Hypnosis didn't replace my medical treatment — but it gave me the mental and emotional strength to fight, and I truly believe it contributed to my recovery.

What hypnosis helped me survive physically, it also helped me conquer personally. For over 30 years, I struggled with addiction. Thirty years is a long time to be trapped inside a habit that controls your life, your relationships, and your sense of self. I tried everything. Willpower. Programs. Promises to myself that I couldn't keep. It wasn't until I turned inward — until I went to the root of it in the subconscious mind — that everything finally changed. I became clean and sober, and I have stayed that way — I now have 16 plus years of continuous sobriety from alcohol. That freedom is something I never take for granted.

Today, helping people overcome addiction is one of the most deeply personal services I offer. Whether you are struggling with alcohol, drugs, or any compulsive habit, I know this road from the inside. I have walked it. And I know that lasting change doesn't come from white-knuckling your way through withdrawal — it comes from reprogramming the subconscious patterns that drive the behavior in the first place. That is exactly what hypnosis does.

I was born on Otis Air Force Base on Cape Cod, MA in 1962, making me 63 years of age. I was raised on Long Island, NY, spent most of my adult years in Florida, lived on the Cape for 13 years, and now reside in Franklinton, North Carolina. My fascination with the mind began at 16 when I first read "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind" by Joseph Murphy. I rediscovered it in 2012 and never looked back. Since then I have studied under the masters — Dave Elman, Milton H. Erickson, Calvin Banyan, Gerald Kein, Igor Ledochowski, and Mike Mandel — and built a well-rounded knowledge of both direct and indirect hypnosis.

I thought transformation was something I had already mastered. Then, last year, everything I thought I understood about myself was turned inside out. I went through a Kundalini awakening — and if you know what that is, you understand. If you don't, imagine the boundary between your everyday self and something ancient, vast, and luminous suddenly dissolving. Not metaphorically. Actually dissolving. It is beautiful and terrifying, and it changed everything about how I understand the mind, the soul, and the work I am here to do.

What emerged from that awakening was something I couldn't ignore: I began to hear things that hadn't been spoken aloud. To feel what others were carrying before they found the words for it. To receive impressions and knowing that arrived from somewhere beyond ordinary thinking. What I now understand to be clairaudience and clairsentience — intuitive gifts I spent most of my life not knowing I had.

I'm not here to convince anyone of anything. I don't need you to believe in any of this for the work to be effective. What I know is this: these gifts have made me a more present, more attuned guide. When I sit with a client now, I am listening on multiple levels — to what is said, to what is felt, and to what quietly arrives from somewhere beneath the surface. I am also currently in training with my NGH teacher to offer Past Life Regression — another doorway into the deeper story of the soul. Nothing happens by accident. Every thread of my life has been leading here.

“The mind is not the ceiling. It is the doorway. And on the other side of that doorway is more of you than you have ever known.”
